Happy Thanksgiving weekend! I hope you’re full of leftovers and that the week ahead doesn’t seem too daunting. We spent Thanksgiving with my parents (my mom is the best cook, hands down, and she made a fantastic meal), then schlepped back to Sarasota on Friday afternoon and have been relaxing—and eating turkey sandwiches—all weekend. We also put up our Christmas tree, and I’ve started purchasing some gifts, which is one of my favorite things to do (I pride myself on being a good gift giver). I’m also trying to figure out what gifts I want to make this year; last year, I did homemade Irish cream, and the year before that, it was vanilla extract. Any suggestions?
