WEEKEND READING!

Happy first day of November! Can you believe we’ve only got two months left in 2015? I cannot–nor can I believe that our wedding is now less than three months away (!!). On the one hand, I’m relieved that all the big stuff is taken care of, but on the other, I also know that there are a million little details that still have to hammered out. Either way, we’re getting closer and closer.

Oh, and how were your Halloweens? Over the past few years, I’ve really gotten into dressing up, thanks to our friends throwing parties and also going to a Halloween bash for work for the past two years where people really go all-out with their costumes. Last year I was Flo, the Progressive girl, and this year I was Princess Leia (Rob and Rambo were Han Solo and Yoda, respectively). I got a wig for $10 on Amazon and wore a white dress and gold sandals I already had, and it worked out perfectly. (People actually kept asking me if the wig was my real hair!)

Anyway, needless to say, after a weekend of festivity I was glad for the extra hour of sleep today and a day to just relax and catch up on errands. I hope you’re all having a fantastic weekend, and if you’re in the mood for some reading, here are 10 fun links.

A digital detox that sounds glorious.

Have you ever done the Baby Foot Peel? I’m dying to try it…but I’m also a little scared (!!).

A wonderful profile of the incredible Edna Lewis.

Maple syrup-soaked doughnut holes. Yes, please.

This coat (in coral) looks so comfy-cozy.

My favorite soup for fall.

Such a beautiful pillow.

Love this striped sweater.

Giant gold sequin confetti! (Would make such a cool photo booth backdrop.)

And, as you sort through last night’s candy stash, what your favorite Halloween candy says about you. (I’m partial to candy corn, but let’s be real, I’m also not that picky.)

Have a happy Sunday! xoxo
