Like many of you, I’m sure, this week to me has felt heavy. We’re all thinking about the suffering in France and Syria and Lebanon, as we should be, but on a much closer-to-home level, it seems that a lot of my friends and family are dealing with their own personal struggles, too.
So, as we approach the weekend, I’ve thought again and again about a quote I love by Martin Luther King Jr.: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
Wishing you a weekend of love and light. You deserve it. We all, every one of us, do.
