Happy Friday, friends! It’s been a long week and I’m so ready for a few days off. This weekend I’m planning to hit the farmer’s market, get to the gym, partake in a little retail therapy and, hopefully, sleep in on Sunday. It should be a nice few days.

I’ve also been thinking a lot (again, some more) about this blog and the things I’d like to do with it, so hopefully I’ll get some clarity on that this weekend, too. I’d like to start some new series–one on beauty, in particular, sort of like the Cup of Jo beauty uniforms, which I love–and just try to be here a bit more often. More on that soon.

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend–and if you’re in the mood for some reading, here are 12 great links from around the web.

R.’s Kickstarter is two weeks into its campaign–please go check it out! He’s almost to the halfway mark with funding.

The pleasure of a solo glass of wine.

Related: how to properly uncork a bottle of wine. (I am terrible at this! Screw top all the way, please.)

Also: This turmeric and lemon tea sounds delightful.

Why more of us are eating alone.

A beautiful essay on taking control of change in work and life.

I need new jeans–will probably just re-buy my go-to pair of dark-wash skinnies, but love these flares.

The most adorable needle-felted animals.

French beauty secrets. (Except no way would I ever do a grape cleanse.)

Making this egg dish this weekend.

This personality test is spot-on (via Cupcakes & Cashmere).

And, finally, Things That Will Happen if I Don’t Take My Phone Out Right Now (via Cup of Jo). Made me laugh out loud.

Have a wonderful weekend. xoxo
