Happy Friday, friends! What are your plans for the weekend? I’m going to the Sarasota Improv Festival this weekend, which should be fun. And in other exciting news, my best friend’s baby is due tomorrow and I’m hoping she decides to make her grand entrance this weekend. I’m so excited to meet her!
What are your plans? Tell me, and I’ll see you back here next week. Oh, and if you’re in the mood for some reading, herewith your weekly links…
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the Cupcakes & Cashmere clothing line is really good.
A great interview with Cheryl Strayed. Old, but still so good.
Rashida Jones’ guide to happiness at work. I love her.
Considering it’s 95-plus degrees here every day right now, I am 100 percent on board with this: no pants. Skirts and dresses only. (Also, the word “knickers” makes me giggle.)
A great post about shopping more ethically.
And some shameless plugs for my own recent work:
A feature story on Ringling College’s film program, which is making waves in the industry.
I got to interview my friend Camilyn Beth for a piece on whether young creatives can find success in Sarasota.
And Rachel Solokewicz is making amazing vegan, gluten-free treats at Retrobaked, her Bradenton bakery.
Have a wonderful weekend! xoxo
