Happy Friday, friends! I planned to be here more this week, but life, as it does, got in the way–I had to plan and execute a cocktail tasting for work (and then, you know, recover from it), and it seemed like lots of other things kept popping up that kept me from posting. You can expect more next week for sure–I’ve already got some posts in the queue.
In the meantime, what are you doing this weekend? We’re going to an art walk tonight–and making a stop at this amazing bakery while we’re at it!–and then we have a friend’s housewarming party on Sunday, but other than that, I plan on laying pretty low and just plowing through the usual errands.

The subject of grief seemed to appear around every corner I turned this week. This post by Sheryl Sandberg about her late husband and this post by Joanna are particularly poignant. (Keep tissues nearby.)
I wrote about these amazing people for work–they are so important to our local food scene.
Jon Stewart on Caitlyn Jenner is as on-point (and funny) as you would expect.
New Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with the amazing Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
The ban.do offices are just as fun–and pink!–as you’d expect.
I loved this beauty uniform (that RMS highlighter is high on my wish list).
What a beautiful top (sadly sold out, but the entire collection is worth peeking at).
A matcha tea primer–matcha is so good, and this is making me rethink the copious amount of coffee I drink every day.
This recipe for red flannel hash, from L.A.’s popular SQUIRL, looks so good. Perfect for a slow Sunday.
Also, two-ingredient doughnuts for #NationalDonutDay. Tempting!
Pro tip: You can find seriously great deals on Swedish Hasbeens on Amazon if you look carefully.
36 hours in Savannah, one of my most favorite cities. Can we go now?!
Have a wonderful weekend! xoxo
