Mother’s Day is this Sunday, and I’m happy to report that I’ve got my mom’s gift in the bag (literally, in fact): She was complaining that she didn’t have a cute lunch bag/box to take to work, so I got her a Baby Baggu, and I’m going to stuff it with some of her favorite things: peonies, good local coffee, etc. I’m also going to make brunch (am thinking this French toast, a pile of crispy bacon and R.’s famous scrambled eggs*), so it should be a really nice day.
I was out and about this week looking for cards for Mother’s Day, too–there is not much that delights me more than sending a card, seriously–and I found some great ones at Write-on Sarasota, a local stationery shop (including the one pictured below from Sugar Paper). In case you’re looking, I thought I’d share three of my favorites this year; I’ve seen 9th Letter Press and Rifle Paper Co. (both based in my hometown!) at Anthropologie, and like I said, I found Sugar Paper in a local boutique so hopefully you’ll be able to, as well.
Happy Mother’s Day card from 9th Letter Press (I love the flowers!)
Happy Mother’s Day to the Mom Who Taught Me Everything from Rifle Paper Co. (that illustration is so sweet)
We Love Mom card from Sugar Paper (gold! Peach! Polka dots! This card is perfection)
What are you doing to celebrate Mother’s Day this year?
