Happy Friday, friends! What are you up to this weekend? I’ve not got a lot planned, but I’m hoping to get in a little extra sleep and lots of puppy snuggles (P.S.: it was Rambo’s birthday yesterday!). Maybe I’ll even take myself to the beach since last weekend’s dip in the Gulf was so delightful.

If you’re in the mood for some reading this weekend, here are 13 great links:

love this post from Grace at Design*Sponge about fear and vulnerability.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck.” (Salty language, in case you couldn’t tell.)

This pasta with yogurt and caramelized onions might be worth breaking my no-pasta rule for.

Speaking of: five wines to pick up for dinner from Costco.

There’s so much style in this Williamsburg loft.

And Lulu Frost’s studio New York studio is gorgeous.

Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant on styling the show for the ’70s.

My best friend’s baby shower is next weekend, and I’ve already got a cake in mind, but now I want to make this naked olive oil and orange blossom one, too. (Gorgeous, right?)

This book–by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan of Go Fug Yourself fame–looks like a fun beach read.

John Oliver is the best. And, in my opinion, maybe the best journalist out there right now, seriously.

How to be emotionally intelligent.

There’s a hidden Vulcan salute emoji!

And finally, post-workout ponytails. Pretty and easy!
