MY CHRISTMAS LIST.

December 8, 2014

pink Christmas tree

Last week, I posted my annual holiday gift guide, and so today I thought I’d share my own personal Christmas list–items that, in a dream world, I’d love to find under my tree this holiday season, ranging from splurge-worthy shampoo to books to makeup to a dream of a dress.

I should probably reiterate at this point that these are total wishlist items and I do not actually expect to receive any of them; being able to spend time with my friends and family (and, OK, indulge in lots of goodies) over the holidays is enough for me, especially now that I’m older. Still, here you go: 12 presents (one for each day of Christmas?!) that I think are totally perfect.

This amazing dress from Ace & Jig. OMG, seriously: This is everything. (I’d also take this top, mentioned in the holiday gift guide, since the dress seems to be sold or selling out everywhere. Options, you know.)

Shu Umera cleansing oil shampoo and conditioner (such a splurge!).

A new iPhone case from Rifle Paper Co. (because I’m upgrading my phone at the end of the month).

Colm Toibin’s newest, Nora Webster.

Amy Poehler’s Yes, Please.

Old Navy compression leggings (in the embossed color), perfect for Pure Barre and bridge walks.

Gorgeous, watercolor-inspired clutch.

RMS Beauty’s Living Luminizer highlighter. I’ll also take this lipstick in George.

These buttery leather boots, which happen to be on sale (size 9, extended calf, please).

A burr grinder for all the coffee beans I’ve recently accumulated (that’s what happens when you write a feature on coffee!).

Speaking of coffee: One of these golden monogram mugs would be delightful (for coffee, tea or hot chocolate).

And, finally, a pint (or two) of Jeni’s buttercup pumpkin with amaretti cookies ice cream.

How about you–what’s at the top of your holiday wishlist?
