Lena Dunham

Happy Friday, friends! The past few weeks have been a whirlwind, and it doesn’t look like things are going to be slowing down anytime soon. But I’m embracing the action and am feeling inspired by the start of fall, my favorite season. (Even here in perennially hot Florida, the mornings and evenings are cooling off.)

I’ll be back soon–I’m feeling like I’m ready to write frequently in this space again–but until then, here are some fun links for your reading/viewing pleasure this weekend.

Lena Dunham’s “Ask Lena” YouTube series is not only funny, but smart, kind and empathetic. (And if you’re in the mood for more Lena, here she is interviewing Mindy Kaling; hilarity ensues. H/t to Ashley for this one–it’s a gem!)

Emma Watson is inspiring.

The latest interviewee in the Man Repeller’s Chatroom series is Rashida Jones, who is completely delightful.

How to pick the perfect sheets. We desperately need new ones and I think I may just splurge on a set of these. (Also, love that Emily’s posts are moving in this kind of reader-service direction.)

R. bought me a set of super-nice knives for my birthday; these tips are right up my alley.

And speaking of food, this beet, caramelized onion and goat cheese sandwich has been rocking my world lately. So good.

I’ve been contemplating a new pair of boots for fall (and my upcoming trip to Boston): These are so pretty. So are these.
