Happy weekend, friends! How were your weeks? I’ve been kind of slacking on my blog-three-times-per-week resolution lately, but good news: After eight weeks of feeling off-kilter and just generally grumpy thanks to that stupid arm injury, I finally feel like I’m getting back into my normal routine (took long enough, right?). It’s amazing how much better I feel when I’m able to/make the decision to be active. Now if only I could get a full night’s sleep, I’d be golden.
Anyway, plans for the weekend are few and far between, which–considering how much has been going on lately–is kind of awesome. What about you? What’s on your agenda?
Oh, and if you’re looking for some fun reads, here you go:
Love, love, love this article about the joys of being a “cat lady” in the New York Times.
An honest and refreshing interview with blogger Nicolette Mason about how she got her foot in the door (and how privilege played a role), her perception of herself and her thoughts on size discrimination.
My adoration of Mindy Kaling continues: This article, and particularly the accompanying video, in Vogue is fab.
And this Nabisco commercial–which you’ve probably already seen, considering the rate at which it’s going viral–made me cry at my desk. So wonderful.
See you back here next week! xox
