Sorry for the radio silence last week, guys. You know how sometimes you just need a little break? Well, I just needed a little break. I’ve had some thoughts swirling in my head that I definitely want to get down here–thoughts on what I want for myself as we move into the last part of 2013, thoughts on what I want this blog to be–and I’m hoping to share some of them here this week. But in the meantime, here are some sweet scenes from the past week or so…
I’m not going to lie; this guy has taken to intense play and meowing at 3 a.m. lately, so I’ve not gotten a night of uninterrupted sleep in awhile. But he’s so damn cute.
I got to wear these awesome J.Crew shoes, which I scored on eBay, to Saks’ “Key to the Cure” party last week and they made me really happy. True story: I won these with 15 seconds left in the auction BY FIFTY CENTS. My proudest eBay moment for sure–not in the least because they were a total steal.
No explanation necessary. I love fall.
Spending the past two weekends in Orlando has meant lots of quality time with this sweet pup. I love her.
Mixing business with pleasure at my beloved Perq Coffee Bar.
I scored so much great stuff at Rifle Paper Co.‘s annual autumn sidewalk sale. That shop is seriously my happy place.
My mom and I stopped at the new Se7en Bites Bakery in Orlando’s up-and-coming Milk District yesterday for some sweet treats–think dark-chocolate-salted-caramel pie and an orange-chocolate-chip scone that will change your life. Also: orange blossom iced tea (!). Must replicate at home.
Kind of a random assortment of photos, I know, but they really were bright spots in my week.
And now tell me: How are you doing? What are you looking forward to this week? What were some happy moments from your weekend? Please share; I’d really love to know. xoxo
