A friend posted this on Facebook yesterday:

“On September 10, I am always reminded that you never know when today is the day before everything changes. Find your happy and live it hard. Be grateful for the good in those around you.”

Amen. Take care of yourselves today, friends. Remember the good.

“fine your happy and live it hard” what a great mantra.

Such truth in such a simple statement. It’s a great point to make on a day like this.

Thanks, Alicia! I couldn’t stop thinking about it all last night and all day today. I was a freshman in college on 9/11/01–18 years old and a baby–and now, this year, I’m 30 (a grown-up for all intents and purposes, even though I rarely feel like one), and it’s just crazy to think how much of the past 12 years and all our lives have been affected by the events that happened over the course of a few hours on a day that started out just like any other.
